Explore ProgramWe operate with full transparency, embed inclusion in every programme, and focus on creating sustainable impact that improves lives across Somalia's most vulnerable communities.
Every programme integrates Age, Gender, and Disability Inclusion (AGDI) — ensuring older people, persons with disabilities, and women are active participants, not just beneficiaries.
We work hand in hand with communities, local leaders, and authorities — co-designing interventions that are contextually relevant, locally owned, and built to last beyond the project cycle.
HIRDO upholds SPHERE Standards, Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS), and Humanitarian Inclusion Standards. We are the SPHERE focal point in Somalia and maintain robust AAP mechanisms across all programmes.
Our programmes don't operate in silos — health, WASH, protection, livelihoods, and education are deliberately integrated to address the interconnected needs of crisis-affected households holistically.
HIRDO works with UNICEF, WFP, WHO, OXFAM, HelpAge International, and Somalia's Ministry of Health — delivering results that maintain the confidence of the international humanitarian system.
From early warning systems to MEAL frameworks, HIRDO uses data to anticipate crises, monitor outcomes, and continuously improve the quality and relevance of our interventions.
